‘Watch!’ is a 2D traditionally animated short film that explores the male gaze in the context of basketball.
The story revolves around a 26 year old woman, Netra, who is reminded of her own childhood on the basketball court after she sees another girl going through the same experiences.

This film was started as part of the Graduation Project in National Institute of Design, Andhra Pradesh, in January 2025. It was then developed solo and subsequently in Kunsthochschule für Medien (KHM), Köln.
The trailer was produced under the guidance of Prof. Isabel Herguera. It was animated using the equipment of KHM animation department.
The trailer of the film along with the work in progress was part of the annual exhibition, Rundgang 2025 in Kunsthochschule für Medien. The whole city of Köln is invited to this event every year where students get to showcase their work.
This film is directed, animated, composited by Sanika Kulkarni.
